It’s Ladies Day at Carlisle, where no male jockeys will be earning a crust whatsoever! Josephine Gordon has been given the ride on Moonlightnavigator, in the 7.45. Dubai Dynamo gets the nod, however. Hayley Turner will be on-board the 11-year-old and the first victory on her comeback trail looks within reach.

The 3.00 at Kempton is the 2nd of 2 juvenile contests, with the runners travelling 6f. Andrew Balding’s Scorching Heat is taken to score on debut. Bought for 32,000gns, he’s well-bred and this race shouldn’t take too much winning.

Snap Shots Set To Fire For Dascombe

Ripon’s 3.45 should be the contest of the day, with Eccleston, Rantan, Foxtrot Knight and Yorkee Mo Sabee taking on Tom Dascombe’s Snap Shots. The Kodiac gelding should appreciate the return to 6f and can win if he starts the race well.

Links Drive Lady was slowly away at Windsor, last time out, yet she soon got herself back into the race and beat Joe Packet by a length. Decent sorts, such as Upstaging and Fingal’s Cave were also left in her wake and the mare can follow up in Windsor’s 7.30 with Jack Duern claiming 3lb.

Joseph O’Brien’s Rosshaven Lady is the hot-favourite in the opener at Cork (2.05) and should win with ease. There’s also a card at Naas, where I Will Excel can finally reward followers with a victory in the 3.25.
