UK
Both Newbury and Doncaster feature valuable races, today, but it’s Cheltenham that will surely attract the lion’s share of attention. Sceau Royal takes on the impressive Movewiththetimes, in the 2:35pm, while Gordon Elliott’s Fagan looks the one to beat in the 3:45pm. There’s also an evening meeting, at Wolverhampton.
Ireland
Delve into the card at Dundalk, where the Listed Cooley Fillies Stakes (7:30pm) tops the bill. Ralph Beckett’s Crowning Glory and Richard Hannon’s Peak Princess are the two British raiders, although they face a touch task. Both Goldrush and Hunaina have shown more-impressive form.
South Africa
There are a brace of meetings to look forward to and the big race at Fairview is the Listed Racing Association Stakes (3:15pm). Pack Leader, Rommel and Seattle Flame should all find friends in the market. The 7:45pm, at Greyville, is also a Listed contest and Mike de Kock’s Kilrain is among the fancied runners.
France
Auteuil‘s 8 encounters include the Prix Robert Bates Handicap (1:25pm). Thomas Henderson will be on-board Guy Cheral’s Sudiste. There’s an additional meeting, at the little-known Les Sables-d’Olonne track.
Singapore
Creep over to Kranji, where the first of 8 races is scheduled for 11:50am. Starsky, Ocean Master and Dayuan will be among those going into the stalls for the opener.
Macau
Taipa tempts punters, with 7 absorbing contests and the Dortmund Handicap (1:35pm) is the feature. Andrew Calder will partner Huka Eagle, in this 6f turf encounter.
