Saturday’s Big Races
There are a couple of races, taking place on Saturday, that really stand-out. The Listed Scurry Stakes (Sandown 2:40pm) should feature Fashion Queen, Ardad and Copper Knight. Charlie Hills’ Battaash, 3rd in the G3 Cornwallis Stakes also looks a threat.
The Listed Ganton Stakes (York 2:55pm) also looks competitive, with the likes of Spark Plug, Gabrial and Mondialiste all looking capable of going very close. Sir Michael Stoute’s Thikriyaat, a G3 winner at Goodwood last season, is another that cannot be ruled out.
