There are black-type races at Newmarket and Goodwood, on Saturday.
The Listed Chalice Stakes (Newmarket 2:05pm) is a 1m 4f encounter, for fillies. John Gosden’s To Eternity is among the favourites.
The G3 Gordon Stakes (Goodwood 3:00pm) is also run over 1m 4f. Both Crystal Ocean and Khalidi should feature, in this one.
However, the big race at Goodwood is the Stewards Cup Handicap (3:35pm) and it looks very open. Projection, Sir Dancealot, Polybius, Danzeno and Growl are already enjoying market-support.
