In this week’s RaceBets Digest, we take a look at what’s gone on in the last 7 days. Which races were most costly or most profitable for us? Who benefited from our money-back offers? What’s new in our ante-post section and which articles have been added to the blog?

Carnage At Kempton!
While no race particularly stood-out, Wednesday’s evening meeting at Kempton had our traders reaching for the smelling-salts! 6 out of 8 favourites won and we took a pasting.
The G1 Cheveley Park Stakes (Saturday) was our best result. While plenty of you thought an Aidan O’Brien horse was going to win this race, the vast majority backed Roly Poly. Stablemate Brave Anna was friendless in the market and RaceBets’ top-brass were handing out the Jaffa Cakes to staff after the Albany Stakes winner caused a big shock. Brave Anna returned at 25/1!
Our Money-Back Special Offers
We made a number of money-back special offers, on Friday and Saturday. The Listed The Rosemary Stakes (Newmarket) was won by Laugh Aloud (9/1) and we refunded bets on runner-up Pirouette (8/1).
On Saturday, we offered to refund bets if your horse finished 2nd in any of the 3 CH4 Racing handicaps (2:35pm, 3:10pm and 4:10pm).
Backers of Kapstadt (2:35 Market Rasen, 9/1), Presenting Arms (3:10 Market Rasen, 11/1) and Carry On Deryck (4:10 Newmarket, 20/1) will have all been breathing sighs of relief!
