The main danger will likely come from Tom George’s Now Look at Me who is already a winner and runs under a penalty here having failed to carry the same penalty to victory last time out. He looks most likely to pounce should the selection fail to fire.

Arthur Moore’s smart hurdler Brosna George comes here in search of a hat-trick and gets in off a low weight at the bottom of the handicap looking extremely well treated. The 8yo has been raised 11lb for an eight length success last time out, but that has enabled him to dream of a place in the Pertemps Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham with another decent showing here. Paul Townend takes the ride again today having been on board for both previous victories and his masterful old trainer looks to have plotted the perfect path for his progressive hurdler and he gets the confident nod to land the spoils under a lightweight here today. Mormon looks the main danger to the selection and holds some lofty Cheltenham aspirations himself for trainer Henry De Bromhead. He is entered in the Albert Bartlett Novices hurdle whilst the Pertemps looks an obvious option, so could be anything in terms of talent, but he may just the lack the experience for this grade against battle hardened rivals.
