The Richard Fahey team have gone from strength to strength in recent weeks on the all weather and they look to have another strong chance of a winner here this evening. Cadeau d’Amour gets in here off a feather lightweight and can take advantage on handicap debut after showing early signs of ability in the middle run of his three efforts to date. He looks a typical Fahey yard improver for the step in handicap company and he is taken to land the spoils in decent field. Fellow handicap debutant Lahessar rates as his main danger with similar improvement expected, but confidence is with the Fahey team so their runner gets the nod.

Joseph O’Brien looks to have an exciting 4yo on his hands with The Game of Life. The horse could not have been more impressive in his maiden victory just before the festive break and despite carrying top weight here, could actually be well in off a mark of just 80 given the nature of that win and he is confident pick to follow up here. Last time out winner Ahlan Bil Zain looks to follow up a win last time out as well and he rates as the main danger to the selection, but would need a career best effort to topple the O’Brien horse here.
