There was huge excitement at Gulfstream Park, on Sunday, where the closing-day of the season meant that a huge Rainbow 6 payout was guaranteed.
An additional $7,336,992 was added to a carryover of nearly $2 million (no player had won the Rainbow 6 over the last 27 consecutive programs). The final payout was $48,881.68 (won by multiple players).
The Rainbow 6 Race Winners
The race winners were Mbrace Grace, Adventist, Japonski, Cindy’s Candy, Hampstead Heath and Good And Proper. None of these horses were starting-price favourites.
The winner included at least one customer who placed their Rinbow 6 bet through RaceBets. They will be celebrating today and we send them our congratulations!
Normally, the Rainbow 6 is only paid-out if there is a single and unique winning-ticket. However, the organisers of the competition are bound by law to payout on the final day of the season.
Just as it did in 2016, this led to an enormous prize-pool being up for grabs and it is highly-likely that a similar situation arises next year.
