There are 2 G1 races scheduled for Thursday, at Punchestown.
The 2017 renewal of the Champion Stayers Hurdle (5:30pm) looks very competitive. Cases can be made for the chances of Sutton Place, Nichols Canyon, Lil Rockerfeller and Clondaw Warrior, while Harry Fry’s Unowhatimeanharry will be looking to bounce back, after disappointing his many fans at Cheltenham.
The Ryanair Novice Chase (6:40pm) should also be a fascinating contest. Great Field, Ball D’arc and Listen Dear are all expected to line-up, along with Gordon Elliott’s A Toi Phil who won the Leopardstown Handicap Chase in January.
