Saturday

Flemens Story
Track: Kelso – 11:45
Jockey: Brian Hughes

The ground may be just soft enough for him but two miles six furlongs should suit but he ran ok in a hands and hells event last time where he could have probably just done with a slight reminder. This race should be more to his liking and he has a chance.

Secret Escape
Track:
Kelso – 12:50
Jockey: Brian Hughes

She has been a little bit frustrating but she has done a lot of running on ground she wouldn’t really like. They are saying the ground isn’t too bad up there so if that’s the case she should run ok. She is definitely fairly treated on some of her old bumper form and I’d be hoping for a good run.

Craig Star
Track:
Kelso – 3:10
Jockey: Abbie McCain

He’s a grand horse that’s in solid form at present, he won the race last race and obviously acts well on the course. It’s the right sort of race for him and he should go close.

Sunday

Culmination
Track:
 Haydock – 12:20
Jockey: Ryan Day

He ran a nice race on his first run back and I think that Haydock will suit him. Obviously, he’s having his second run after a long break so you never quite know what to expect but he could run well.

Mr McGo
Track:
 Haydock – 12:55
Jockey: Brian Hughes

The race he ran in at Bangor turned into a very hot race and they went very fast up front and he never really got into it. He’d had a very long break prior to that. I hope he goes and runs a proper race, with the small field likely to suit him.

Quids In
Track:
 Haydock – 2:30
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He goes on the ground, the trip is right and we are putting blinkers on him for the first time, which he has worked well in at home. He’s run well at Haydock before and got the trip well the last day. The only concern I have is that the blinkers don’t light him up too much.

Hills Of Dubai
Track:
 Haydock – 3:05
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He ran well the last day and if it’s proper heavy ground around there then two and a half miles should suit him fine. He had a hard enough race the last day but he seems in good nick and in general, seems to run nice races at Haydock.

Gaelik Coast
Track:
 Haydock – 3:35
Jockey: Brian Hughes

This looks like a hot bumper but he’s a horse we quite like. He’s mentally immature but he’s done nothing wrong so far. He came out of Bangor well and he needs to run so this looks like a nice opportunity even though it’s a strong looking race.
