it’s been quiet enough on the winners front over the past two weeks but we haven’t bee running too many and those that have run have gone well without winning. I have a nice if select numbers of runners this weekend with two heading to Stratford with live chances and yard favourite Chti Balko running in the Welsh Champion Hurdle. On Sunday I run the bumper winner Yes No Maybe So who should appreciate jumping a hurdle.
All of my thoughts on the runners this weekend can be read below, with a winner or two hopefully among them:
He probably wants better ground than he’s going to get here but I wanted to get him started and believe it or not there aren’t that many 0-100 races for the next few weeks.
He was running very well at the end of last year but as I said ground would be a concern.
Henry is a horse that has two ways of running but the 2M 5F around Stratford should suit him and he seems in good nick at home. That being said he will come on a touch for the run.
He’s in good nick, he’ll like the ground and the track should be fine but it’s a competitive race to make your seasonal debut in. The rating means we have to go for these types of races and it stunted us a bit last season, so we will just get him started and see where we go after Saturday.
Horse: Yes No Maybe So
Track: Sedgefield – 3:35
Jockey: Brian Hughes
There is always the chance that there will be a flat horse with a little bit more boot than him but he’s a grand horse that didn’t do an awful lot wrong last year. He’s schooled well even though he can be a little bit busy.
Best Chance: Yes No Maybe So
