The horses continue to run well without really getting their heads in front but I was delighted to see Pinch Of Ginger win again at Catterick last weekend. Looking forward to this weekend I have a nice team of horses heading to Wetherby and Kempton on Saturday with three horses off to Kelso on Sunday.

You can read all my thoughts on the runners below:

Saturday

Chelesa’s Boy
Track: Wetherby – 12:30
Jockey: Lorcan Murtagh

On his first run over hurdles at Catterick, he ran a nice enough race. I’m not sure how he’ll cope with the ground at Wetherby but I hope he does and he could be one to look forward to.

Yorvik
Track: Wetherby – 12:30
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He’s one that’s slightly immature and raw but he has shown some ability in his two bumpers. It might be in time that he wants a bit further but it’s a good starting point for him and he should run well.

Hart Of Steel
Track: Wetherby – 1:40
Jockey: Lorcan Murtagh

They went very fast in his two-mile hurdle at Sedgefield and he got a little bit lost so hopefully, he will travel a bit better. He ran a good race on debut at Kelso and he should show more now.

Fin And Game
Track: Kempton – 3:45
Jockey: Daryl Jacob

Look it’s a fairly competitive race and I also had him in at Kelso but the ground has gone a bit too soft for him there. He’s in good form, is running well and must have a chance.

Sunday

Mr McGo
Track: Kelso – 12:50
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He ran a big race at Kempton and has come out of that race in great form. Kelso should be fine for him and he should go close.

Chti Balko
Track: Kelso – 1:55
Jockey: Will Kennedy

I have run him a couple of times at Kelso and it’s just not quite happened for him but it’s an obvious race to run in as he’ll go on the ground’ He’s rock solid and is another that should run well.

Federici
Track: Kelso – 3:00
Jockey: Brian Hughes

Obviously, he ran well for a long way at Aintree and we have done his pallet since so I suppose we’ll find out if that makes any difference because he did stop quite quickly at Aintree. He’s won around Kelso before so hopefully he runs a nice race.

Best Chance: Chti Balko
