It’s been a good couple of weeks at Bankhouse where the winners thankfully keep on coming. Ubaltique surprised me on Saturday as he normally takes a couple of runs to warm-up, then on Wednesday Chti Balko and Navajo Pass both won at Bangor. It was great to get a win with Chti Balko as things didn’t go his way last season and Navajo Pass looks a smart juvenile hurdler.
Just the two runners on Saturday with Mount Mews and Dear Sire both having their first starts of the season. You can read my thoughts on bot their chances below:
He’s got plenty of ability but like Dear Sire he would prefer much better ground and will need the run. I’m hoping he runs well and we can look for something for him in about three weeks.
He’s a nice horse that’s returning from an injury he sustained last season. He has been working well at home but would prefer better ground and he’ll improve for the run.
Best Chance: Dear Sire
