The horses continue to run well even though there hasn’t been a whole pile of racing lately. I loved the way Pogue jumped at Doncaster last Friday where we recorded a nice double. Looking forward to this weekend, we have three runners at Musselburgh on Saturday where there is some really good racing. All three horses would have chances and you can read my thoughts on each of them below:

Track: Musselburgh – 1:31
Jockey: Loracn Murtagh

Obviously, he’s done an awful lot of running around Aintree and this is his first time in a more sensible grade in quite awhile. He qualifies for veteran chases, Lorcan knows him well and the trip/ground should be fine.

Dear Sire
Track: Musselburgh – 2:40
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He schooled well this week and he’s run at this track numerous times. I know it’s a competitive race but these are the types of races he’s going to be running in and he should run well.

Val Mome
Track: Musselburgh – 3:52
Jockey: Brian Hughes

He ran ok for a long way the last day and hopefully he comes on from that run. The track and trip are absolutely fine and he’s an “ok” horse I think.

Best Chance: Dear Sire
