It’s been a quiet couple of weeks at Bankhouse but the horses seem to be in great order and we have a nice team of horses for the winter. I run three on Saturday where See The Sea looks the pick of them in the listed race at Market Rasen. At the start of the year, I didn’t think she’d be running in a race like this but she continues to improve. All of my thoughts on the runners can be read below:
She’s not the best horse in the yard but it doesn’t look the strongest race on paper. In truth, her best chance of winning will probably be when she goes handicapping but she’s in good form and I hope she runs well.
I had her in the novice hurdle and but I just thought this race was worth a punt. She’s been running well of late, it’s not the strongest listed hurdle I’ve ever seen and she’s got a lovely racing weight. I just hope they don’t get too much rain.
Her hurdling career has gone the wrong way and if though I’m probably a year or so too late I want to give her a try on the flat. She might need a handicap mark I suppose but I just want to get her started and see. She ran well in some good bumpers and it’s an interesting project.
Best Chance: See The Sea
