Day three action begins as ever at 13:30 with the JLT Novices Steeple Chase, with the Stayers Hurdle the feature race of the day beginning at 15:20. The Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race is open to horses aged four years and older and is run over three miles, with twelve hurdles to negotiate. The great Thistlecrack won this race back in 2016 with Nicolas Canyon securing the winner’s purse last year. The John Harrington trained Supasundae is the early favourite followed by Apple’s Jade and Sam Spinner.
Luke Harvey and Sam Twiston-Davies return with their expert opinions for the big race of Day 3.
