Here are Harry’s selections for every Channel 4 race;

2:00 Ghinia

Ran a great race on seasonal reappearance and has been given a chance by the handicapper, who has left her mark unchanged despite good runs in defeat.  With Adam Kirby taking over from apprentice Ron Hornby, a big run looks on the cards.

2:15 Giddy

The least exposed here, she ran a huge race finishing 2nd recently. With a bundle of untapped potential to come she can improve past her rivals and should prove very hard to beat for the Richard Fahey team.

2:35 Journey

Journey improved no end last autumn, culminating in a ¾ length 2nd to Simple Verse on QIPCO Champions Day. With the best form on offer, a solid reappearance and more suitable conditions today, she can resume winning ways and enjoy a bountiful summer campaign.

2:50 Al Khan

Returned to form the last twice, winning with plenty in hand at Ayr 10 days ago. Handicapper hasn’t been overly harsh (7lb rise) and this strong travelling gelding can hit the winners enclosure again, for in-form trainer Kevin Ryan

3:10 Home Of The Brave (pictured)

An intriguing contest between the progressive 4yo’s and the established older horses. Home Of The Brave made a superb reappearance in April and can justify his trainer, Hugo Palmer’s patience by taking another step forward today.

3:25 Winterlude

Super consistent this Spring before disappointing last time out. Excuses can be made for that run. The booking of jockey Silvestre De Sousa looks significant today and this former Godolphin inmate can get return to winning ways.

3:45 Gifted Master

One of the stories of the season thus far! Gifted Master is a fast improving 3yo who grabbed a five-timer in April. With today’s trip a little stiffer than ideal I expect the Hugo Palmer trained gelding to be doing all his best work late.
