Unbeaten in 6 starts and every reason to believe the Voix Du Nord-sired gelding can make it a magnificent 7. Won the Cheltenham Triumph Hurdle by a whopping 5 lengths and he’s clearly the one to beat.

Breeding: Della Francesca (USA) – (Saumarez)

Won a decent encounter at Huntingdon, despite veering quite alarmingly across the track. Very unfortunate in the Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle, at Cheltenham, losing by just a neck to Nick Williams’ Flying Tiger. Looks capable of becoming a huge star.
Charli Parcs
Age: 4 (Foaled March 28th, 2013)
Sex: Bay Gelding
Breeding: Anabaa Blue – (Nikos (UNR))
Trainer: N J Henderson
Owner: Mr John P McManus
Beat Master Blueyes by 8 lengths, at Kempton, before falling on his return to the course when very-much in touch. Slightly disappointing, in the Cheltenham Triumph Hurdle, although connections will be relieved that a clear-round was achieved.
Race History
This used to be known as the Lancashire Hurdle and it was first run in the 1960s. G1 status has been enjoyed, since 2005. Recent winners include L’Unique, Guitar Pete, All Yours and the 2016 Champion Apple’s Jade.
Alan King has been extremely successful in this race, over the last decade, winning on no less than 4 occasions. Master Blueyes is expected to represent him, this time around, although his charge has plenty to find on current form.
